  1. I'm finished in two weeks! It feels great, huh? It was a long haul for me too. I had to repeat A&P II and I'll have an A or B after finals. But congrats on taking the next step. You worked hard and deserve all the success in the world.
  2. I was thinking of applying for the nursing program @ the community college I'm currently attending now. I'll be finished with the prerequisites after this semester (in two weeks). My GPA is pretty good. I was also accepted into the BSN program at a private nursing school, but the price is very astronomical. People have suggested that I try for the two-year college then take my BSN online or try for less expensive school. I need suggestions. I'm eagerly hoping to start the nursing program. Thanks.
  3. I hear people go on about how challenging it is. I really want to know why it's so hard as they say. I assume if you can survive the prerequisites, you will be breeze through it. There were 4.0 students at my college who barely made passing grades in NS. Is it the amount of work? or are the exams/papers very difficult?
  4. Great tips! You have to dedicate yourself to your studies to succeed. I love science/medicine, but find A&P very challenging and consuming.
  5. Of course it is not easy. Some people with feeble minds may think so. Nursing and pre-nursing classes were not meant to be a breeze. It's designed to prepare students for the real world of nursing. Many who go into for financial gains are fooling themselves as well. I love science and anything medical related -- but I'm finding some classes very arduous. The people who are grossed out by the A&P labs should quit now -- and spare themselves and the future patients.
