I am a student working on a paper for my recent ER experience. Some definitions I am having a difficult finding in books or online are: 1. How to decide if patient is emergent, non-urgent, or urgent. 2. Algorithm 3. MICN 4. Base station Any explanation/help/resource would be greatly appreciated!
  2. With out adequate cardiac perfusion, there will be no renal perfusion, which can lead to kidney failure. By looking at BUN (normal: 7-20) and creatinine (n: 0.8-1.4) you can evaluate renal function. The renal and cardiac system are always closely related, always working in response to each other. It is also important to asses I & O and fluid volume to evaluate renal function
