How did your TEAS & essay go? I'm also applying for LA campus and I take my text next week. :) Very nervous about the science part since it is my weakness. I'm wondering what the essay topic is since no one seems to mention it.

The McGraw book is cheap... only $15 or so if you buy it from an online store. I found the science parts are really vague . It tells you subjects but doesn't explain them so you can REALLY 100% understand (if you don't already), and it doesn't go very in-depth. I tried the ATI practice test online just now and bombed the science part, plus there were things on there not in the book. I think my A&P textbook would help me more with the science part. Anyway good luck to all taking the test soon. I am freaking out because I have to take it in a week. :eek: I will be OK in English and Math, struggling with science (my A&P class was over a year ago:crying2:)

Hi everyone, Wow I've been going to National (taking pre-requisites) for a long time and just discovered this thread. I finally applied to the LA campus this week. Does anyone know how long after they receive your application that you'll be scheduled for a TEAS test? The nursing advisor told me they had a test today but I obviously missed that. I definitely would like some time to study so if anyone knows how often they have TEAS tests, it would help give me fair warning. Thanks for your insight! :)
