  1. Mostly I study at school. Go before class and stay after. I have a husband and four small children at home so study time is rare there. But I do have a desk at home on the rare occasions I get to study. It has four drawers to keep all my stuff in except for books. I have a electric pencil sharpner, pencil cup and small basket on my desk along with my laptop. I have a small lamp next to my desk and a 5 shelf bookcase near me.
  2. I use my car. We don't have buses or public transportation in southwest VA. Plus my school is about 45 minutes away and clinicals are even further.
  3. I think it just depends on your school. I know for my RN program the only thing they went by was the National Percentile. We had to have a National of 45. I have no idea how they generate those numbers. I know a lot of people are confused by them.
  4. I love my Littman! Check out www.allheart.com they have some great deals on theirs.
  5. Thanks everyone! I was pretty sure that is what it was but just wanted to make sure.
  6. I've seen many posts about critical thinking and am kinda confused about what you mean. Can someone give me an example of critical thinking? I start RN this fall so I really need to get this straightened out. Maybe a question from a test or book or something that uses critical thinking? thanks everyone!
