  1. What I would recommend is that you apply with these GRE scores. Your quant, score are rock solid, normally applicants have better verbal than quant scores. Schools like to see a higher quant. score over the verbal score. You will still get the interview and may even get accepted but the school may ask you to improve your verbal score by the time you start the program in Janurary of next year. So your admissions status would be conditional based on if you achieve a higher verbal score. So I would say don't retake at this moment, go ahead and apply and wait to hear back! You'll get a interview for sure as long as your GPA is decent. Hope this helps!

  20. It's going good so far. My first exam is next week. The material so far is pretty easy. There are four exams which make up our final average. I hope I do well in this class because we will be tested over this stuff over and over!
  21. Is it true that alvin students can take upper level classes at utmb for adn to bsn program while we are enrolled in the adn program??
  22. I agree with sunshyn. Don't give up yet. I'm sure there are some who haven't told alvin no because they just haven't had time to do so.Hang in there!!
  23. yes thanks a lot Jaed!Very informative. I also was wondering if we can use a calculator on our dosage exams that we are going to have throughout the semester?? Also had anyone signed up to get CPR certified? Im trying to get all my "dirty work" done asap!
  24. Thats really good that your boss is willing to help you out. One of my friends is in the san jac program said that first semester is the hardest but once you get use to the flow of nursing school after the first semester it gets easier.Which I guess makes sense. So maybe try to work as little as possible in the beginning and then work more afterwards.
  25. Yes I think our work load is going to be very intense Is anyone going to work during the program? They recommend that you don't. I can't wait for us to start this journey!
