  1. I live in Denver and of course ahd to have them when they hit the market. the first pair i bought were the beach style, holes in the top. they are great i still wear them around the yard. the second pair, without holes for work reasons, not good. I have plantar fascitis , directly due to the shoe. hope this helps. oh they are very slippery on may surfaces, dont let any one fool ya. also if you are in the habit of slightly dragging your feet, they will through you down......to be honost.
  2. I have worked forensic nursing in the past year. Proven fact: tasers do not kill people. not one case has been proven. the damage to a person on the receiving end comes from the fall sustained after the taser is applied. Officers in my area are trained to control the persons fall. there are always situations that this may have not occured. One should learn of non lethal interventions before making such bold statements.
  3. No I would not do it all over again. I should have gone to beauty school. And I just might.
  4. after 10 years, I am burnt. I'm burnt of the politics, hostil environments, and most of all the paperwork. How do I revitalize my nursing inner child? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.:angryfire
  5. Thank You I have taken a week off of work and what a difference. I still feel burnt , but not so tence. I will try to apply a little of what you each offered and let the "freedom ring"....lol I have a great boyfriend and now a great ear to lean on in my peers. Thank you so much for taking time for me...Thank you..(((group hug)))
  6. I moved here 2 years ago from Sterling/Rockfalls area. The housing is very costly. I pay 900.00 for a 1 bedroom/1den apt. in Thornton. And thats With the discount. HCA is formaly Columbia...does that ring a bell??? That would include all Health One facilities. The pay isn't bad but cost of living over-all is HIGH. O am going to rent a very nice 2 bdr townhome for 1100 month. That is about the going rate of small homes as well. Hope this helps. Carrie
