  1. I'm sure everyone is still waiting for acceptance letters? I think denials have started going out, but no acceptance I don't think. I haven't gotten anything, but if I do get accepted, which I have no idea, I will decline, because got accepted into TWU BSN program starting Fall 2011! So, someone that doesn't get in, if I did, they will get to fill my spot!!! Good luck to everyone, I know waiting sucksssss
  2. I know for sure we have to have white tops with wine bottoms. I'm a little ahead of myself too, but was just making sure and I found out!
  3. Thanks for getting this started Zeek! I hope we can get a facebook page going to! I know we all have a tough road ahead of us but will soooo be worth it and will be great to have eachother's back thru this journey. I'm looking forward to orientation, and glad it's less than a month away, because I'm definetely anxious! I"m finishing up patho this spring semester and taking it in Dallas, and when I say it's tough, and the notes are not near enough to study i'm serious. You must read the book and study guide. I'm used to making A's in most my classes and currently not doing so hot, but am passing. Just gonna finish strong, and soooo glad I got it out of the way, because i know our first semester is going to be tough! Love having this forum for us to stay in touch and get to know eachother and once again CONGRATS TO ALL TWU FUTURE NURSING STUDENTS!!!!
  4. I can't explain how excited I am I get in. I'm honestly in shock and feel it must have been God's Will, because I did TERRIBLE on the TEAS. I was told by an advisor that they score the test by sections, and I did descent on everythingbut the Science and totally bombed it. My total score was only a 69, which I know is awful, but my GPA was a 3.8, and made A's on all my first attempt science courses but anatomy 2. I still know it is a true blessing I got in and The Lord had my back. To those of you who didn't get in yet, don't lose hope, keep your head up, and keep having faith and trying. Good luck to everyone and I'll see you guys at orientation!
  5. I got mine this afternoon
  6. I got my acceptance letter for Dallas today too!!!!!! Soooo excited!
  7. I can almost guarantee you will get in with that Teas score. My friend got in last yeat with a 90 TEAS score and at that point she hadn't even finished microbiology or anatomy 2. You will get in most likely. If you register for chemistry and statistics (I just went to the info session on Jan 7th) you will get 10 extra points. It just has to be completed by the time the program starts. You also send a letter in stating you plan to pursue your BSN and what school you would do that at. Good luck, but honestly yo are in! The TEAS is the BIGGEST factor by far in their ranking.
  8. You can take pathophysiology in Dallas, even if you are not yet in the program. I start in this Spring semester and not yet admitted into upper division nursing courses.
  9. I just talkedto the Dallas campus, and I have not been admittedto upper division nursing classes, and am enrolled to take it Spring 2011 in Dallas. It's no problem.
