  1. mjgernurse, How long is this program? and are you required to find your own preceptors? thanks
  2. You may need to contact Ms Nunnery cuz she emailed us like 2 weeks ago wit the details of where we are to be and even wear. Definitely call her tomorrow if u didn't get that email.
  3. Ya I was too nervous to do the PVT so I had one of my friends check for me over the phone since I was bout to have a panic attack! Got the good pop up but u still feel like u may be that one exception!...Good luck stay encouraged!
  4. I just took mine today as well and didn't feel confident at all walking out of there. So here I am on allnurses researching this PVT just to feel somewhat at ease. I also got the good pop up and finished at 75 and am just in disbelief since the test made me feel like I didn't even go to nursing school! But all my classmates as well say the same thing that it works... Those in my class who have tested already and passed got the same pop up!! These next 48 hrs still gonna be long tho ugh!
  5. I have not heard from her. I did speak with her couple weeks ago about license stuff and she said she would be in contact closer to our start date. I wasn't really expecting anything until February to be honest. Didn't know she was gonna contact in January lol
  6. I'm not moving until Feb myself since I'm still workin and the ED doesn't start til 24th. Not sure how the rhythm test is but they have a study booklet on the site if you don't already have it.
  7. This was inspiring! Congratulations! I also have kaplan, saunders, and lippincott and test in January!
  8. this post was helpful! thanks yall!
  9. I also plan to test in January 2014 and bought the 6e recently, I plan on studying front to backwards in addition to kaplan since its offered by my school oh and lippincott. I did not have a saunders book which was why I got the 6e but i'm sure the 5e is just as good and efficient!! GOOD LUCK
  10. Thanks for this review! My school offers kaplan and since I already paid for it! plus my weakest I feel are meds so i'm glad Kaplan reviews that! Thanks again for this awesome post..very helpful!
  11. Ya definitely do the interview then go from there! Congrats and good luck!
  12. Speaking as a new grad who just accepted an ED Residency position I think you never know unless you try really, however I do think its a great idea to apply to internships/residency programs as they are specifically open to new grads since you'll get some good training and its a great way to break into a specialty so i've been told. Good luck in your endeavors hun whatever field you start in i'm sure your gonna ROCK IT! Congrats on your spring graduation as well!
  13. Hello everyone and Congrats on your acceptances!!! I just found this thread!
