How did it go? One thing I learned the hard way, taking the spike out of the IV bag while it was still hangnign semi-full and having NS go all over the floor.

I worked at a bank 20 hours a week. Although they were not in the nursing field, I got full medical & dental insurance, paid tuition (FYI banks employee RN's in their insurance departments), and 3 weeks paid vacation. They worked around my schedule and made it super easy.

I just received my acceptance letter! I can't wait to meet all you guys in January! For all the other alternates out there, I attended the meeting today and I was 3rd on the list.

GPA was 3.56, all classes completed as of June. I hope it works out and I get it. This is a career change, and at 28 I can't afford to wait to much longer.

You were an alternate right? Did they email you acceptance letters? Starting to freak a little bit... Especially after my back up plan of Ptec canceled there Jan start dates

I applied for the Spring 2012 program as well. I have not received an email, but the money was taken out of my account already so I know they have it. I turned in my application packet the 3rd week of May. Good luck to everyone!

When I went to the seminar there was well over 200 people there don't be discouraged by that. You have to remember its a pool of people for 2 campuses and I'm sure a majority of them will see the costs and not apply. I'm not sure if you took version 4 or 5 of the TEAS, but have you thought about taking it a second time to try and improve your score? Which campus are you applying to?
