  1. Congrats nycedagreat! Im doing th Hurst online & just took my 1st Q Review test & scored 80 out of 124. What were your scores? Im not sure if Im doing well or not.
  2. Thank you Angela. I went last week & spoke w/the counselor. She said the program is about $26.4k, do you think the program is worth it, considering I don't have my pre-reqs & don't want to do the whole waiting list? Also, I was just wondering if the teachers are good & if you guys really have Fridays off because of my work schedule. Also, any advise about passing the classes w/at least a B? Thank you again.
  3. Hi there. I was thinking of going to Allied for my LPN to RN bridge in Tampa. Does anyone go there now or has graduated from the RN bridge program? Any feedback or recommendation would be great appreciated? Thank you.
  4. This is a great thread! i just graduated this month & planning to take the NCLEX in March. Please count me in!
  5. Thank you very much everyone for the wonderful advice. I will take some time & evaluate what will be best for my wife & I.
  6. Thank you for your post. The $25k debt is credit card debt for living expenses (school was $7k). The bridge program includes the pre-reqs since I don't have them. I will check into SCF in Bradenton. I thought you have to be a resident there & have pre-reqs completed? Is that true?
  7. Thank you! I was thinking of doing that. Im in Tampa, Fl & the online LPN to RN bridge program I found so far is Excelsior but Im not sure how legit the program is. The community colleges around here don't offer the bridge program online unfortunately.
  8. Hi there, I just graduated from LPN & will be taking my NCLEX-PN in 2 months. I feel burned out from school & in $25k debt (credit card) for living expenses & school. My wife works & pays for everything but we are still in debt. I feel burned out from LPN school & financially overwhelmed because of our debt. Should I work for a year as an LPN, to atleast help pay down our debt before I do the LPN to RN bridge program (another $30k in student loan) or go straight to the bridge program & suck it up & plug away at it for another 15 months? Thank you very much for your honest advice.
  9. Not yet. I spoke w/her yesterday and she said she will be mailing them out next week and for those who have received the purple post card, they are the students who are accepted for Oct 2011. Hope this helps.
  10. Thank you. I just spoke w/the counselor and she said Im in for the Oct 2011 AM class! She will be mailing out the acceptance letter Aug 17. Yay!
