  1. I feel you buddy ! I got the same problem ! I did poorly on Reading too ( 74%) ! Who said it's easy? not me ! lolz ! Actually the Reading is not too difficult, it's just not enough time ! should be extra 15 mins !
  2. lol ! i see you every where nam123 ! you need to relax and stay calm ! you'll do fine buddy !
  3. I just took TEAS 5 ! such a long test ! Got only 78 overall ! too bad !!! I did terribly on Reading and English (low 70's) ! Really dunno why !? maybe I have reading problems ! lol ! Usually people here say Reading and English are just breezy but.... not for me ! Science is too broad ! but got 80 ! ( yay me !!! ) ! Hopefully I can be qualified for some nursing schools by this TEAS result ! good luck to all and me !
  4. dear missdeevah, thank you so much for your post which is the best one i've found so far ! this really encourages me ! i am right now in the same situation like you were before ! i have applied to all lvn, rn and bsn as well. but only accepted to lvn program, and i didn't know if i should go for it. after reading your great post, i have decided not to miss this chance ! yes, you are right ! we should go step by step ! and the chance for an lvn to be accepted to rn program is always higher than students without lvn license. i have learned that i should satisfy with what i am offered ! good luck to all great nursing students !
  5. HI everyone, right now I'm really in a difficult situation ! Need your advice seriously ! I've got accepted to both LVN and MLT ( medical lab technician) program ! Which one should I pick ? As people know, It's tough time for LVN to get a job especially at hospitals, so I dont want to spent 18 months on this program and then get no job. Of course, I would do LVN to RN bridge but most schools requires at least 6 months experienced. But how could people gain experience if they can't get a job. I still love nursing but job opportunity really discourages me. As i know, it is NOT hard for MLT to land their jobs which is a plus to me ! SO what program should I go for ?
  6. I have been rejected to 2-yr Nursing program for 3 times already( lottery system) ! Now I feel so bad and depressed ! I have been thinking about changing my major ! But don't know what major to switch to ? ...And I still love nursing ! I wonder if any one was or has been in this situation like me? I really need your advice ! I might end up doing something stupid !:bluecry1::bluecry1::bluecry1::bluecry1::bluecry1::bluecry1::bluecry1::bluecry1::bluecry1::bluecry1:
