  1. You are so right!!!!! I have worked with RNs that I just couldn't figure out how they passed. I do realize that this passing is to represent a basic knowledge, enough to keep from killing someone. :rotfl: But some don't have it after years of floor work. LOL Then again there are some that definitely should continue there education because they know it so in depth.
  2. I very well remember that stressfull day. After 75 questions I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that I had failed. Was I excited when I got my letter of passing 1996. There as somethings in life one never forgets.
  3. Sorry to hear about your boards. Suggestions: Take a review class, get an NCLEX review book. Most books have a cd in them. Test on the cd until you consistantly score 80% on all test. You will probably pass next time. Preparation and good test taking skills mean everything.
  4. You shouldn't have had the second PPD. Cxray should have been obtain when the redness with induration occurred. I am allergic to Tubersol. Turns red, no induration and intense itching. I have been tested with 5TU and 2TU same results. I have CXray every 2 years .
  5. I agree with Ryaninmtv. Very good or Very bad. But all in all it sounds like you passed. Congradulations!!!!!

I don't know what part of Oregon or which company is sponsoring the nurses. I too heard $150/hr. Sounds bogus to me. I would like any information anyone can give me. Also how hard is it to get license. Do you actually have to have your school transcript sent to OSBN? I have never had to do that in any other state. I would love to be trained in another area. I work ICU/CCU now; have M/S, Psych, Tele, LTC, skilled. Would like L/D; only experience I have in that is clinical many many moons ago.:rotfl: What is the deal in Australia?
  7. I heard there is a pending strike in Oregon. A friend was asking me about it. Has anyone heard about that?
