  1. Hi can anyone tell me how are the exams given in the ASN Program? Are they weekly or every 2 weeks? I am not able to focus with accelerated weekly testing. Herzing Birmingham was weekly and very hard for me. I'm wishing for a better program so I can soak in what I'm learning.
  2. I called the regular number on Google for Griffin. I immediately pressed 0 and got an operator. I asked her for the nursing office. I believe a lady named Amy Adams answered. Congratulations!!
  3. I just talked to someone at the Griffin campus. She told me I wasn't even in the pot. I applied the end of July and that doesn't count for anything. You have to apply right in between Aug 1-31. Good luck to everyone.
  4. That would be a true miracle!! I'm really hoping for a chance. I'm just praying ??
  5. It's 7:39 on a Monday here in Decatur Ga. I'm at work checking and still nothing. ?
  6. Yes chamberlain is BSN only. South which is just as expensive offers an ASN. Which started this year.
  7. @RoxieRN No I haven't heard absolutely nothing. I have checked everything. I even checked to see if it changed from Healthcare Management that's how desperate I am.
  8. I still haven't heard anything official yet either. Though I kind of know unless I have a miracle or something. @RoxieRN I think oth Chamberlin sometimes. It's legit but its very expensive. They don't have a ASN program. BSN only. South college is also very expensive but they started a ASN program option this year. Another school is Herzing. It's private but not as expensive as South and Chamberlin. Their ASN program is in Alabama. 2.5 hour drive. I know someone who did it but ughh. I don't think I could. Very simple straight to the point curriculum like Southern crescent. Easy process to get in.
  9. I haven't received my email yet but my scores are very low so I know I have a lot of work to do. I wish they had a different scoring for allowing entrance. Like a ethics and morals test. And academically just make sure all the sciences are excellent. I have a B in both of my anatomy classes. The C came from psych and humanities. Guess I just have to pull them all up. Anyways RoxieRN keep your head up. You don't have much to do at all. Just retake about 2 and turn them into A's and you'll be fine. Try chattahoochee too.
  10. I guess they are still working on the list of who made it. I'm so anxious. I think I've checked my email a thousand times LOL. I'm praying for a miracle. My GPA is very low. A 2.7. I scored 73 on my HESI. I'm currently a LPN of 24 years but would really like to advance myself. I'm willing to work hard this year and retake some of my pre reqs to get my GPA up. Good luck to all of you.
  11. I am so upset. I really hoped I'd be able to start the LPN to RN program this spring but it is now closed. I haven't received my e-mail yet but I'm assuming they'll allow me to start next spring. This literally made me cry. A year is such a long time. In the mean time I've decided to complete my Chem 1010, 1020, and Stats. That way I can roll right into a BSN program. This is such a bummer though because I worked hard to finish Math 1250 this summer. Plus I'm 38 so time is not on my side. Good luck to all.
