  1. Bodily fluids don't bother me- one of the million reasons I went into nursing. I guess my kryptonite is patients with nasty attitudes.
  2. I'm not working today, but last year I had a black bandana on my head and a pirate eye patch (most of the time I kept the patch flipped up so I could see). I figured I could take both off quickly if I had to. :dancgrp: =D What costume are you wearing, or have worn?
  3. This is coming from a student... I can understand her wanting to look like the RN she may be someday. And it's ~possible~ she didn't understand that only staff should wear the lab coats to avoid confusion. But wow, there was no reason to cause further division by complaining about it to her instructor. I'm surprised that she succeeded in creating more division; her instructor should have enforced following the floor rules.
  4. hahaha I agree with others; I don't see how this could make it into common practice. I'll never forget one woman going through labor who kept trying to bite her husband every time he came near. Even after she got her epidural, neither of them would've been in any mood to be kissing. Good idea in theory, though...
