Hi guys. I am in California and am too taking professional nursing starting Monday. Ive taken Technical Writing and its not so bad at all, the best advice I can give you is to follow the grading rubric and you'll be fine. They also offer examples of each assignment so that's helpful too.

Thanks for the info. My best wishes jayecrew! From previous interviews I've been asked mostly all behavioral questions. Remember you're a new grad and will be with a preceptor so all the skills and clinical knowledge will be taught and is not expected. If clinical questions do come up though I've been told to always include your colleagues in managing an emergency or when you have questions about a procedure or how to handle something. so basically practice safety, be resourceful, and be a team player. Let us know how it goes! :)

Palomar accepted applications for their residency program on October 7th. I see from previous blogs that applicants received emails for an interview 2 days after applying. I was wondering if perhaps anyone has herd from them or if their status had changed. Thanks!

I have a couple of months of experience as a RN and a year experience as a CNA. I graduated with a ASN and am currently working on my BSN. This will be my 4rth time applying to Sharps NNRP!!! I have the basic certifications (BLS and ACLS) I applied to Grossmont's PCU and telemetry/MS.
