  1. Can anyone give me some information on All Saints in Racine. How do you like working there? What made you choose that particular hospital? Thanks:)
  2. I'm having the same problem! It's so frustrating! I've been a homemaker for several years, and went back to school to become an RN. Most places that I've applied to are looking for experience. How do we get that experience if no one will hire new grads? I've applied to various residency programs, nursing homes, and hospitals in my area. I applied to PT, per diem, etc. I've even applied to some VA hospitals. I don't know what else to do. I don't know anyone in the medical field so that kinda of makes it hard too. I guess I'm going to look for a waitress job or something until something opens up. I will no longer be a new grad after a few months and that worries me too!
  3. Hi, I'm a new grad who is frustrated because I can't find a job. I've applied to various positions in any state that had an opening. I'm starting to think that I picked the wrong profession because I can't even get started when every opening is looking for either new grad with a BSN or an RN with experience. Please give me some advice before I give up on being a nurse:( Thanks.
  4. I had two phone interviews at Pitt County Memorial Hospital ,and they contacted me for a face to face interview a day later. I just didi my face to face interview today, and was wondering how long do they take to get back & let me know if I got position?
  5. Anyone work for Burlington Hospital in WI? If so, how do you like working there?
  6. Hi, I'm interviewing with PCMH this upcoming Wed, and I am so nervous! I'm a homemaker and haven't interviewed in years. Any advice?
  7. I applied to PCMH too, and I'm super nervous about the Face to Face Interview! I want to work in the telemetry unit. I'm also nervous about the Assessment test they give too! I'm a brand new nurse, and I know that I will forget some basic stuff because of either not remembering or just being nervous. Any advice? I'm happy to see the great reviews on this site:yeah:
  8. I was wondering what I need to do in order to work in ICU. I looked up an online job description and it said that I need an ACLS, and CCRN. I'm confused about the CCRN. Does that mean I have to work elsewhere for so many hours, and then apply to ICU after I complete an CCRN?
  9. Nursing tutor? Where can I find one? I really need some help with care plans. Thanks:)
  10. Don't you get to repeat that one semester over? My college allows you to repeat a semester over, but only once. If you fail a second time then you have to repeat the whole process of applying to nursing program again.
