I am! If you look at the posts above there's a link for a FB group. Everyone that is accepted for fall '15 is in there. There's a few other classmates in our campus too.

Exactly! And I'm sure people will be declining their seats bc it happens all the time. Fingers crossed for you! I've seen the lowest approved at 3.53 so far, so you're not too far away.

I was looking at that option at USF too, Todd. Well I'm glad you're staying with me! Do either of you know others that were accepted? Seems like this semester doesn't have much activity on here.

Well congrats to you! What was your GPA? As excited as I am, I'm just as nervous! I was hoping for nights and weekends but we shall see. I heard you find out a few weeks after acceptance (I hope that's the case!) and I heard you get them at orientation. LOL

There's another thread I found after reallyyy searching but only three people posted awhile back. It's really weird there isn't much activity for this semester. I got my acceptance letter too! Congrats on getting in! Usually we don't find out until mid to late April. I was so shocked. Maybe that many people didn't apply, but that seems weird. What program are you hoping to get?

I think its hard to find this post bc of the tags used. If you type in HCC nursing fall 2015 it doesn't come up unless you spell out HCC. Just a thought. I applied to the fall program with a GPA 3.57, which is pretty low for fall. I applied last year but got denied bc I was unaware they deduct .2 if you've attwmpted a class 3x. Not sure why my academic advisor didn't inform me or guide me on what course to take. However, I didn't submit my HS transcript again since they already have it on file and I couldnt get it time, so I'm thinking I'll be denied for incomplete app and have to apply for spring. But I guess it could be ok since spring is easier to get into.

I am definitely going to appeal. Don't know anything about the process after the appeal, but I'm fighting!

Hi all, just got home and got my letter, but unfortunately I was denied. They miscalculated my gpa to be a 3.3 but I have. 3.57... I'm super upset!!

Where are you located? I'm in Orlando so I may not get mine today either..

Regardless the outcome, I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to accompany me during the waiting game. We shall see! Thanks everyone!!

Will do - and of course my mail comes like 3:30-4 lol I don't know what my chances are now that I see people getting alternates due to the number of credits they've taken at HCC, but still trying to have faith!!
