  1. Same here, congratulations everyone ?
  2. You're not the only one. Last week I recieved and email that my financial aid package was available and then was able to log into csulb where I had the option of accepting an admission offer. However, I have yet to receive any emails from the SON. I'm not stressing, but it would be nice to know.
  3. @melbel1127 check the self service, my status was updated this morning ?
  4. Thank you @melbel117 Did you apply for FNP as well?
  5. Has anyone checked the self service portal for their status?
  6. Thats awesome! Congratulations!
  7. I haven't, I applied fnp. Acceptance notification may depend on the program. The person you know got a call?
  8. Thanks! I just got my invitation today for FNP.
  9. Has anyone heard from LB regarding interviews yet?
  10. Ginger.RN replied to BHS Nurse's topic in School
I used to be a substitute school nurse for a school district in southern ca. Pay was roughly $175 per day for 6 hours (only retirement benefits because it was subbing). Not bad but you can make more in other areas if you're concerned with pay. Honestly, it wasn't my thing but if you like working with kids its a good gig.
  11. Hey everyone, congrats on being accepted! I wish I was amoung you all!!! Anyway, I was hoping you all would share what you think made your app stand out amoung the rest of us. UCLA is my dream school and I would totally appreciate your thoughts!
  12. You win for best post!
  13. HOw fast did it take Dr. Cardin to get back to you?
  14. Who did you talk to about this? I want to call them and ask about mine. I have all my prereqes done and a great GPA.
  15. UGH! I feel like all that hard work for nothing...
  16. so does that mean if you've been denied you still have a chance of being waitlisted?
  17. Well you guys... for those of you who got in, I wish you the best!... Thanks for all the support everyone. AND... Since I didn't get in I will be concentrating on music... I am a singer so please support my band, befriend us on facebook or myspace and twitter (@perfectlynov).... Also check out our stuff on reverbnation www.reverbnation.com/perfectlynovember
  18. didnt get in needless to say
  19. Letters are available on website....
  20. I just got my denial from USD
  21. I say we all need to relax... Chill... Grab a drink at your favorite bar and stop thinking about it :-)
  22. Yes, that information is accurate, I applied to the university back in November just in case. It seems like it's harder to get in that one, the student academic statististics are really high.
  23. My major is health science at a CSU, I had some experience volunteering at St. Francis Med. ctr and my GPA was really good, but not so good on the GRE. I don't know, maybe its because I have not yet graduated with my BS and I still needed two prerequisites which I was going to take in the summer. I could still be on the waitlist but I won't know until they send me a letter, So its all for UCLA now! I haven't applied anywhere else but I may apply to CSULB if I don't get in at UCLA.
  24. if you don't mind me asking, what was your gpa/gre scores? I interviewed for USD but I either got waitlisted or denied and I am not sure exactly why. My grades are really good and I thought my interview went well.
