Good luck! I interviewed with New York Downtown Hospital back in the fall. I interviewed with the nurse recruiter and then a few months later with the nurse manager. The current nurse recruiter was recently hired when he interviewed me.The complete process is very unorganized. They say they'll keep in touch, but I never heard a word from them. I hope you have better luck with them!

Kcangel1, it's been more than a month for me and I still haven't heard anything back. I also have the same recruiter.

The nurse recruiter I met with at Mount Sinai was really nice. The interview was very causal. She asked a questions regarding patient safety, patient satisfaction, and teamwork. Just be yourself! You'll do great!

DiamondCoffee, It seems that you applied to the traditional program. http://nursing.jhu.edu/apply/deadlines/ I believe most people on this forum applied to the accelerated program.

I haven't recieved a call or mail. I'm snowed in and have no idea when the mailman is coming. This is making me really anxious.

Hey there! I also applied to the ABSN/MSN (Peds) for regular decision. I had my interview on 1/11. They told me I should hear back by the end of January or beginning of February. I'm deseparately waiting for a call. I'm not too confident about my interview. I felt that it was really awkward. I'm trying to stay positive! Haha

I never got the call for my second interview, I'm still waiting (which sucks). I'm hoping I'll get into the BSN portion of the program! Congrats to everyone else on their acceptancs! In the meantime, I'll stay positive!
