How lucky you are to be over with your interview!! Mine is later this week and am driving myself crazy!!!! Glad to hear it wasn't that bad.

Just took the exam yesterday. It was hard, but passable. A LOT of questions like 'If this, this and this is done for the patient, how would you know whether the treatment was effective/ineffective?' Also a lot of pharmacy questions--know your meds. Some questions had you figure out polypharmacy answers, ex-ACE inhibitors used with Beta blockers, vasopressors, etc. I used the Gasparis DVD's and a review book and studied 'seriously' for about a week.

I received a letter during the summer. I actually asked someone last week about it and they said they have not started to set up interviews yet. No word on when they will. I know that they normally have two rounds, one in September and one in October.

CuriousMe, No, no. I am taking a grad level science course to satisfy a requirement for the CRNA program interview at Case Western. Once I take that course, I will then submit my GPA to Case. I was considering also taking a stats course at Akron at the same time, knowing that I will have to at Case if I get into their program. This was my intent and then to transfer the Stats credit to Case. But, since the stats course that is usually taken by 'pre-CRNA' students at Univ. of Akron is not offered in the Spring, I was wondering if anyone out there had any advice. I KNOW this is confusing!

Hello everyone, I am hoping to soon get accepted to crna school. I am looking at Case Western and Univ. of Akron. I was told by Case Western they want me to take a grad level science course. Got accepted at Akron, but am not going to interview until next year. I definitely was not ready to interview there based on what I heard the interview consists of. Anyways, I am going to take the grad level science course at Akron starting in Jan., but want to take another pre-req course there and if I go the Case Western route, want to make sure I can transfer credits. Was going to take stats, but not offered. Any other course I should take that will probably transfer to Case if I get accepted there??

From what I have seen and figured out based on the website, I am thinking around $70,000. If anyone knows differently, let me know. I have been comparing Univ. of Akron and Case. Univ. of Akron is around $35,000.

:uhoh3:I have applied and am waiting to see if I am granted an interview or not. Does anyone know if everyone who applies gets interviewed? I would hate to think that they would interview you when part of your application is not acceptable-that would be a waste of everyone's time. How long does it take once your application is forwarded to the crna school does it take to find out it they want to interview you???? Thanks to all
