I'm planning to endorse my Rn license to New York, and I'm still not sure about some questions after several hour surfing of New York State Board of Nursing web site. Please help!!!!! 1. Do New York Rns renew your licenses every 3 years? 2. Is the license expiration date based on the birthdate, such as the end of the birth month? 3. In additon to the Infection Control Course, are continue education and pratical hours required for licence renewal? Thank you in advance for your time and replies!

Hi, Micah25 I feel your pain because I'm in almost the same situation as you. I'm sorry that I have no advice for you right now to improve your chance to get employment. I hope you'll get you EAD soon. You said you have RN license in IL. Do you konw whether you need a SSN to renew your IL license?

Do you think that the SSN requirement will also affect RN license renewal? I need to renew my license soon and unfortunately I don't have SSN.

Hello, everyone! I've a question about Visa Screen Certificate. I'm a Canadian, and had my RN education in US and passed Nclex recently. Do I have to apply for Visa Screen Certificate if I want to get TN visa to work in US? All your reponses will be greatly appreciated!
