  1. @ twissted assistant. Im right now taking my lpn cources and looking into moving to florida in the next year or so. Are correctional LPn jobs are they hard to come by?
  2. Hey, I was searching threw the web to see the salaries that LPN offeres in various states. I came across Correctional LPN. I came to the conculsion that they make more than a LPN working in a hospital or a clinic. Is it becouse of the High risk in working in a correctional facility? Im very interested in this now that i came across it. and i think that it's something that im going to look further into. Can anyone give me any info on this? has anyone worked in a correctional facility as a LPN? and why do you think that they pay more then hopspitals or clinics.
  3. well, im glad i found a message board that protains to what im lookinf for. I live right now in New jersey and looking into moving down to florida. Im starting my classes now in new jersey with only one class to go to start up my clincal. I want to know before i start really thinking about moving the million dollar question. HOW MUCH DOES A LPN MAKE DOWN IN FLORIDA?
  4. Hey everyone, I just started my classes yesterday for LPN. I live in New Jersey, and always thought about moving down to Florida. I know that the living cost in florida doesn't compare to the living cost in New Jersey. I was wondering what is the on going salary rate for a LPN in Florida, and it worth it.
  5. excuse me, i didn't think that i was going to get tested on this site for my spelling. i was trying to get everything out quickly, due to the fact that the computer lab was closing. thank you for responding to my question (in a very sarcastic way) but not offended. im just puzzled that you had the time to write that out. but i bet you understood it. and for the person that answered my question and had the same reaction that you did. thank you. i just wanted to post it to see if anyone had a differant view on the subject.
  6. wow, i didn't know that neither im going to post this for later in the future
  7. crodriguez posted a topic in General Nursing
ok someone tell me what the differance between " CERTIFICATE IN PARACTICAL NURSING" AND PRACTICAL NURSING CERTIFICAT" I ask this Becouse the current community collage that im attending have this program and they sound and reads ( when i read the discription ) the same. Is there a differance?
  8. thanks to the ones that have replied to my posting. I agree with you all. Im going to look into the LPN instead of Rn for now.
  9. Hey I hope someone can help me. I decided to go back to school and take nursing. knowing the minimal things about nursing and many ranks it has. So now im in the verge of going crazy and dont know what todo. I have the nursing school test in october. But if or when i pass it then i have to wait until next year 2011 to attended school and then 2 more years after that to finish Nursing school. Thats a total of 3 years.!! So here's the question. should I continue going to nursing school even tho there is a waiting list and 2 years after that. or should I take LPN. ( now in my community college) the advisor informed me that it's the same amount of years RN and LPN. But reading every ones responces to some question here i find out that it's much shorter a 12 to 15 months program. If that the case then my best bet for me is to go for the LPN. & get my foot in the door. CAN I HAVE ANY SUGGESTION.
