  5. I was wondering if these classes are transferable in Southern California? Just finished my LVN program and looking into taking pre-reqs for RN, but it's really hard to get into those classes at the Community Colleges. Can anybody help, pls?
  6. Almost finishing my first term at ACC OC. I'm in the full-time program and can be really stressfull. A lot of people drop the class already, but is because they had no dedication and no willingness to study. I've been doing good so far, but almost 50% of my class is failing. This is a totally differrent school than you may have experienced so far in life. They have high expectations, a lot of study load , care plans(2/week) and med cards. Our teacher is really experienced and she can be really demanding, but she wants the students to succeed. My clinical instructor is just wonderful and she is trying to get us to do more a lot of LVN work not just CNA work. I've done G-tube dressings and soon I'll do a Foley catheter. Good luck to you!!!
  7. are you in ABSN?? I'm thinking to go there starting nov.
  8. anybody attending BSN at West Coast yet. Need more info...is it worth it??
  9. Is anybody attending WCU in Anaheim?? Their BSN program starts in Nov and I would like to enroll, but I'm so scared about the money. Any suggestions??
  10. Can you elaborate pls?? Do you mean going for LVN first?? THKS
  11. I'm struggling also. I'm 33 and want to go to school for RN, but is so hard and takes so long and a lot of money. Recently I found BSN at West Coast Univ and is 39 months and over 100K. Thinking to go there because seems to be to shortest way. So I''ll finish when I'm 37... Seems that I'll be so old and a lot of debt.
  12. Did you enroll in direct BSN program?? I'll go to WCU tomorrow to find out more about the program. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thks
  13. Do you think the program is any good? Thanks
  14. wow...that's a lot a money.....thaks for your response. Anybody knows anything about the program??Is it accredited????
  15. I'm interested to become a nurse. First I was thinking to go to LVN program and then to LVN to BSN bridge.
