  1. Hi, I need advice on the RN Nclex . I have failed this exam twice. Ive used Saunders ( so much info I cant retain) Hurst videos ( I found on ebay and purchased) Remar Quick Facts. I answered 3,000 questions before my exam on my 2nd attempt. 1 st attempt ( didnt study thought I could ace it because i did so well in nursing school) I also answered some but not ALL from PDA Lacharity book. When i took this test on my second attempt I was very nervous but I felt confident and remained calm, honestly the test didnt seem so hard i thought I was passing especially with all the SATA (20) 2 Drug calculations a ouple drugs I never heard of before tons of Priority, and you know what the things that were on my test I ctually seen before from my studying. Now I took this test Dec 28, 2013, and Im about t tackle this test test again.but before I apply i want to study and come up with a study plan, like GI for 1 full week and so on. Im self employed so I have plenty of time to study, and my 15 yr old son who had been giving me problems is in a 3 month program and my daughter leave back to college today so I think Im ready because I have been indeed stressed. I want another book for content besides Saunders ( which I know is good but but its just to much I think and I get overwhelmed) maybe Hurst or Mary Hogan ( any suggestions) will be greatly appreciated.
  2. Hi, I found out i failed rn nclex again on my 2nd attempt. i studied so hard, and Iknow dont know what to do. Any recommendations, I used Saunders, but I think I need audio content to understand and wont put me to slep. I found on Ebay someone had hurst lectures on content, Im ging to give that a try. Being this is my 3rd attempt I want to be confident before re applying. Any suggestions on Reviews, besides Kaplan because Kaplan actually used my facilty to hold Nclex review and the instructor was horrible.Remar Review , ive heard alot about but not sure. Please give me any suggestions
  3. Im doing Saunders for content, its just so much, I have the Kaplan book and Im planning reading cover to cover, I may take a shot at that ncsbn for 3 wks for $50, and thinking about 1 more purchase which is the remars quick facts, hopefully i pass on my second try, especially being that I test 2 days after XMAS
  4. Thanks for the input praying i pass on this time around which will be may second time testing
  5. Anyone used nscbn review or remar review, if so how was it? Trying to find another review along with my Saunders and Lacharity
  6. Hi I am taking my RN nclex for the 2nd time. What are some good study nclex books.I ordered Saunders 6th Edition, but is wondering should I just do that whole book and questions or buy the ncsbn online prep also. I must admit my first go around I didnt really study( due to hardship), and had to take my exam before the ATT expired. Now I got my life back in order and is ready to tackle this exam. Sugestions please. Also wen i go to study I cant study over an hour day, it feels like Im cramming
  7. what school are you attending to do your program because i got withdrawed from fscj ad they denied me clinical access
  8. Long atory short I was pulled out of class the 2 week, so depressing, so Im got my record expunged like a previous student, it worked for her , hopefully it will work for me.
  9. Im in Fl, with an exemption from the BON for a prior felony 9 yrs ago, and now awaiting Monday to see if I can go to clinicals, ive came to far. Good Luk
  10. Hi, when I was 25, 9 yrs ago, i gat a felony g/theft charge. Since then I went to school for CNA, and applied for an exemption through the BON.(it was granted for CNA RN LPN). Since then I just got accepted into the RN program at FSCJ in Florida. We were told that if Baptist Hospital dont except us for clinical training, we have to withdraw. I gave a copy of the disposition and exemption from BON, does anyone in this area knw if they have ever denied student clinical access at this hospital in Jax. fl. It will be so upsetting to get this far, and have to withdraw and reapply at other schools. I thought once I got the exemption I would be fine, but I just dont know.
  11. I got accepted, yeyy (fall term). But i was bummed when i heard that if baptist dnt accept u, u would have to withdraw, any1 knw if this has happened to sme1 before. See iwhen i was 25, young dumb and stupid i got n arrested. Now im 34 9 yrs later its cmin back to haunt me again. I have an exemption from the board of nursing for licensure, and to work. Any info would be gratly appreciated. Ill be bummed if i came this far to get turned around :-(
  12. To view book voucher go up under financial aid, fall term, a the bttom of the page click book authorization. Everyone book voucher is only 480, so you would have to pay the difference.
  13. Ive been so bummed after orientation, here it goes. Does anyone knw if smeone has ever had access denied to clinicals at Baptist, because I have something on my b/g from 9 yrs ago, i was maybe about 25, young dumb and stupid, but I work in a nursing facility now as a CNA, and have an exemption from the Board of Nursing.I would really be bummed if I came this far and had to withdraw. Anyone knw anything please let me knw.Thanks:-(
