  1. Just found out I passed my Nclex-RN exam. I am so relieved this exam is over! I studied using Kaplan/LaCharity/ and Lippincott CD. I took the inclassroom class from Kaplan. I used elminating wrong answers on all 75 questions. My heart was about to jump out of my chest at around question 60- I took unscheduled break. I drank some water, calmed down went for a walk for a few minutes and then went back in. I took 2.5 hrs to answer 75 questions. I got 8 SATA; 50% Priority/S&I/MEDs questions were the rest I think. I can't really remember details anyway I thought it was funny about talking about the test; because you can't remember any of the questions when you walk out of there at least my mind was a total blank. I did feel like I well prepared w/ Kaplan. I added up all my questions I did and it came up b/t 3200 and 3600 in a six week period of time. Hope this helps. Don't think you have to rush through to get to 75 and then get stuck with getting more questions because the first 75 were up and down b/t the passing/failing standard. Just food for thought. Good luck to everyone. take care:yeah:
  2. We used these cd's at our school to study for both the HESI and the NCLEX. All of my class thinks these cd's were awesome and really helpful. We also took Kaplan's course in addition.
  3. I was told that its not the amount of questions you get its how difficult they are. I got really easy questions the first try, low level questions.Computer shut off at 88 questions. My anxiety over took my confidence and I rushed through the questions. This time I studied more, took the Kaplan class (classroom) and took all the question trainers & all 1175 Qbank questions plus Lippincott 3500 cd. I over killed to boost my confidence and prove to myself I could do this. I spent 2.5 hrs on 75 questions. I started to get so tachycardiac I had to break at question 61, I went to the br practiced OB breathing-LOL- it works; drank some water, took more deep breaths and went back infront of my firing squad. The last 15 questions I took the most time on. I figured if the computer was going to shut off for one of two reasons to judge- either 75 questions were enough or I was going to run out of time. I used the Kaplan strategy for each of the 75 questions- which is to eliminate the three wrong choices no matter if you don't understand the remaining answers rationale. I got the good pop-up today and feel relieved. Of course the four margaritas helped the tachycardia after the exam with my friends who are new RN's too! LOL - Good luck, to you and if you failed, get back to studing and change your study habits I believe its the amount of questions you do and how process the rationale that makes the difference.
  4. Congrats on finishing! Yes the PV Trick works as long as your results say "delivery sucessful" before you try it. I know it works have had many friends try it and they passed when it did not allow them to get to the cc screen. Just curious were the questions like Kaplan still? I have finished all 1175 in the Qbank and have two more trainers to finish b4 I test next week. thanks again, and congrats!
