  1. I'm considering the move to Los Angelos area. I have only medical surgical experience and will have one year of rural ER experience. This will be quite the culture shock but I am excited for the move. I want to apply for an ER position with the intention of getting ICU experience.
  2. The Vati is extremely overwhelming, I understand how frustrated you are. It is alot of material. Just remember to not lose confidence. these exams are meant to be harder then the actual NCLEX. When I finally took the exam after one month of VATI, Saunders questions, and an Nclex testing App from Droid.........I passed in 75 questions. Looking back, i acttually thought the Nclex questions were easier than i thought they would be. I got tons of SATA, 2-3 Ob, 5 Mental Health, Infection control content was huge, 2 delegations, and pharm q's. Hang in there and stay relaxed.
  3. Using everything you can is a good way to do it. My school uses ATI and after graduation I did the V-ati. It had good material to look through but my tutor did take her time getting back to me and there weren't many exams to practice. Don't get me wrong because there are many exams they offer but I was needed more, so I turned to Saunders to answer more questions. I also downloaded an APP on my droid that helped alot too. I pass my Nclex last Thursday with 75 questions. If you do decide to do ATI.....don't focus on the scores you get but rather the material. Confidene is always KEY in Nclex.....good luck :)
  4. I passed!!! I found out because the board of nursing in Montana issued my license. Soooo exciting!! I tried the PVT, it worked for me!! I just studied with the Virtual ATI.....it made me feel really stupid tho but i just kept rollin through and I'm a registered nurse now : )
  5. I took the exam this morning too..........i also got the good pop-up!!! is it the one that says U recently took the exam, contact your Board of nursing.??? Oh gawd i hope thats accurate in Montana!!!! That test was something else....let me tell you!!
  6. I am currently finishing up the Vati. It has tons of material to go through. They bring you through the systems and focus on what you need to learn. I would say that It has been a long ride through. I was generally a good test taker in Nursing school (class of 2010). I scored over 900's on all of my HESI exams. So when I was going to go through Vati, I was failing exams left and right. They want you to pass at a 60% and i was getting hi-50's. Then I would freak myself out and try to go over EVERYTHING. I just did the predictor exam and have a 93% chance of passing the Nclex exam. We will see how it goes my test is Thursday Aug. 19th @ 10am. I will update you. I had to look through my old HESI exams and pump myself esteem up in regards to test-taking just to get my confidence back. It's all up to you though, i know tons of people that benefitted from the VATI.
  7. Is there anyone doing the Virtaul ATI? I graduated in June, 2010. I had to do a three week Statistics class right after graduation. I finally began studying with the V-ATI about a month after graduation. My Exam is scheduled for Thursday August 19th. I have gone through the whole program and just did the predictor exam and recieved a 88% chance of passing the Nclex exam. I'm not sure what is going to happen now because I have to wait for my tutor to let me know. I was just wondering if anyone else out there is in this program or is getting closer towards the "exam day".
