  1. Okay thank you so much! BTW, I believe we have 6 mutual friends on Facebook. I'm going to PM you.
  2. Oh really? I have heard good things about him on here and a student in my math class that had him for A&P2 said that he was great and really devoted all of his time to helping students. Maybe he has been having some personal issues or something.. Do you have any recommendations?
  3. Does anyone know if Professor Mason will be teaching A&P1 this spring? Not all of the times for it this spring have professors listed but I am getting anxious about registering.
  4. I only do school work while he is asleep :) I may take it during the JTerm too. I still have to take group discussion so I might fit that in during the summer with A&P2 if I don't take it during the jterm.
  5. Thank you so much!
  6. Does anyone know how difficult Medical Terminology is? Would I be crazy to add it to my other five classes this fall? I have a 2 year old, but I don't work.
  7. I couldn't find anything about it on Hood's website. Where did you find the info? I plan on going to the transfer fair in a couple of weeks at FCC to talk with some other schools. Most likely I will stay at FCC to apply for the spring program. It is very convenient and I have an almost two year old at home. It will be neat if we are in the same program!
  8. Woops! I meant Spring of 2012. I plan on taking AP2 next summer and Micro during the Fall of 2011 before applying for the Spring 2012 programs. I didn't know Hood started a BSN program! I will check into that because I live really close. Thanks everyone!
  9. Hi everyone :) I am currently attending FCC and will be graduating with a General Studies AD in the spring, but I was planning on staying at FCC to apply for their Spring 2011 ADN program. I am now looking into transferring to a four-year school to get my BSN instead. After this spring semester I will only need Chemistry, A&P2, Micro and possibly a nurtrition class in order to fill UMB's pre-reqs. I do plan to eventually get my MSN. What sounds like a better plan.. going from an ADN at FCC to a BSN or a bridge program to an MSN.. or transferring my pre-reqs to a BSN traditional program next year?
  10. What is physio x? Do you have to do it outside of the regular class time?
  11. Thank you to the person who recommended Professor Dormo for BI55 (I don't remember who specifically). I'm taking his class now and really like it!
  12. I had this same question so I asked my counselor. I am graduating with a general studies associates this spring, but continuing at the college to apply to their nursing program. They said my courses will count towards the new degree. If you can transfer credits in from a different school, then it definitely makes sense that you would not have to repeat any courses. Are you going to the same college or have you transferred? That may make a difference in the transferability of credits.
  13. What do you think of BI103 so far?
  14. BI-55 does seem to be really helpful to me right now! I don't remember much from high school bio or chem so the pace is good for me.
  15. I wanted to take BI101 because I was looking forward to the lab. I just switched to BI55 for once a week. It fits a lot better with my schedule. Thanks for the reply!
