@ Saligurl....I did HURST review for one week straight, then 2nd week did q's like crazy. Also, I think the Lacharity priority book is great too. During the test I tried my best to remain calm and remember all the tips that Aunt Marlene gave in her q and answer review videos. Hope this helps, study hard and good luck!

lol :rotfl:!! i can sympathise with you, for awhile there i was constantlly coming up with questions to ask the nursing dept. at times it felt like they recognized my voice. i think you should just call again and get your answer, your nerves won't leave you alone untill you do.

i'm sure you will get in to your school of choice, you are preparing well in advance for the hesi. just a reminder, start with the reading portion first then take the math. thanks for the compliment to all of us with kidos. i must say that trying to do well in school with kids can be at times extemelly difficult, crazy, fun, frustrating and exausting to say the least; but once you have kids you can't see yourself without them. they are my daily motivation!!!:lol2:

count me in on any plans of meeting each other before school starts! this website is fascinating, i love all the supportive discussions. amyluu, it's definitely exciting to witness all of the different levels of change that our youngsters are experiencing. i am so anxious to get this ball rolling!!!

i know what you mean tmrine, im keeping my mind busy with 2 classes and baseball. if i don't get accepted this time around i will reapply in jan to tomball & montgomery, i live about 10 minutes from l.s.c. tomball so that would be ideal. i have 3 boys ages 2,9 & - - 13... ohh my i officially have a..... teenager. he just turned 13 on labor day and i im still taking the fact in that my baby boy is growing up !!! good luck and hope to meet you too!!!

well, i called cyfair's nursing dept today and asked this very question; is the adn program 18 months or 24 months. the lady instantly said it's 24 months, then after i questioned her on it she put me on hold and returned to confirm that cyfair does not offer an 18 month program.

same here, i understood that the adn program is for two years. my friend started @kingwood this january and had june & july off. she just started " level two" on aug 30th. she will graduate dec of 2011. she said the program is divided into four "levels". if cyfair's program is trully 18 months then im super surprised and excited, that's if i get in!!!! if by chance i don't get accepted i have already come to terms with that and i will simply finish up my pre-reqs for my bsn and apply in jan to tomball's adn program.

hey travelmaster how's it going so far in the tomball nursing program? what do you think of it and could you please fill us in on what to expect? i know tomball's keeping you busy, so even the tiniest tidbits of info would be appreciated.

congragulations momof5kiddos!!! :yeah::yeah:your score is excellent, just wait and see you will get your well deserved acceptance letter soon. as, far as the clinicals go it varies. i called the cyfair nursing dept and was told that clinical sites change with each enrollment period; it depends on thier contracts. hope we meet if i get accepted, and good luck with all your future endevours:d.
