  1. I wore mine all the time and only took it off when cooking something i had to use my hands for, such as making rolls, bread or meatloaf, I wash my hands and use the foam between pts, i wear 2 pairs of gloves when doing a procedure. Most male wedding bands are just that just a band around your finger. So not likely it will tear the gloves anyway. If it does i have the second pair for back up.
  2. I personaly will have a female nurse with me if i have to do invasive procedures on a female pt. Last year (while I was still a CNA) a male nurse that i was very good friends with, married had children, was accused of fondling a female pt while checking the leads on a tele and making comments to her that was inappropriate. The pt had been in the hospital a few days and my friend had her as a pt every day they would talk and joke but nothing in a sexual way. There was a female nurse in the room that the pt did not realize was there. This saved him from loosing his job and reputation.
  3. At my hospital all visible tat must be covered. personaly i think it looks more proffessional when tats are covered, but thats just me.
