  1. Hi! The book "Resumes for Dummies" is quite helpful. Also, most major office/& computer stores (e.g. Staples, Office Depot, etc.) have computer software specifically to help create a resume (e.g. WinWay Resume Deluxe.) You can choose the style, format, fonts, etc. that you prefer and they have sample resumes for different job categories. Then you just fill in the different areas (i.e. Experience, Education, etc.) with your own personal background....The software also has area for cover letters...
  2. Hi! Here's a website from BD company regarding giving insulin injections and they advise swabbing site in a circular manner before injecting the insulin... http://www.bddiabetes.com/us/demos/injecting.asp hope this helps.....:)
  3. Hi! The book "Wound Care Made Incredibly Easy" is a good reference...:) Here's a website with lots of resources for wound care, etc. http://medi-smart.com/wound.htm :)
  4. Hi! Sacramento, California has a new Shriner's Hospital. Opened a few years ago and is very nice. Probably more info on it on the Shriner's website...:) P.S. Sacramento (and it's outlying suburbs) is a very nice place to live. Plus you're only about 2hrs away from San Francisco or Reno!
  5. Hi! I agree with CAMMIERN---"RNotes" by Ehren Myers (published by F.A. Davis Company) is very good!! Wish I had had it or something similar when I was a student nurse many moons ago!
