I think the opinions will vary, but I believe a lot of it comes down to you.

It seems from what I have seen it is easier to get a job as a FNP.

It seems you are right...FNP could do mental health

I am not an RN now, but I am considering getting my BSN and becoming an NP. I have talked to many people who love it. Go for it for sure.

I am not a nurse now, but from what I have heard there is just a big learning curve for non nurses while getting their bsn. Once you have this, the Masters would be less of a learning curve.

How do you like being an NP, what is it like?

Can you tell me if someone without any healthcare experience at all can get a BSN in Nursing, then go to a Masters/Doctorate NP program and get a good job straight out of school?
