  1. Yes, you can retake the qtrainers, diagnostic test, or readiness test. You can do as momochichi said, but sometimes I didn't get the page where I can "start" again. So I called Kaplan technical support and told them which qtrainers I wanted to reset asked and they did it with no questions asked.
  2. I got the good pop! Does anyone know how many hours it takes for California to post the license on the BRN website if the exam was taken on a Monday? For those of you who took it on Monday and found out officially today, are you from Cali? Thanks!!
  3. I'm on the same boat as you! Anxiously waiting. I thought the CA BRN website updates 2 days minimum after taking the exam but I guess it's 3 days like Silverdragon02 states, which kind of relieves me somewhat. Have you checked the BRN site today? I guess I checked around the time they were updating and it went from "Last updated: JUL-12-2010" to "Last updated: JUL-13-2010," but it's the early morning of July 14!!!! lol
  4. This question has probably been asked already but I'm hoping someone would be kind enough to answer =). What does the nclex want you to wear for droplet and airborne precautions? I'm kind of confused because nclex review books and the CDC say you don't have to wear a gown for either, but from what I remember, i could swear that i encountered doing Kaplan qbank questions that had answers that included wearing a gown for droplet precautions. Could someone please clarify this? I'd appreciate it so much!
  5. So I've seen posters on this message board say that they got medications that they've never even heard of on the NCLEX. I'm studying the medications from the Kaplan RN Course Book. I mean, I know they're probably not going to have every single medication in existence in that book, but is it really possible to get SO many questions about medications that you've never even heard of on the test? Do you think it's because they didn't focus on studying medications, or they forgot what the med was for? Anyone have some insight? LOL I haven't taken the test yet, but I'm just kind of baffled and freaked out when posters say that.
