  1. I go there now and I would strongly advise you not to attend. If you are going for the RN you may not be able to get a job after all that work and money because the program is not accredited. If you are going for the LPN there are less expensive schools that are more professional that you can go to.
  2. Stay with your mom. I am old...lol..and I am back at my mom's house. Its a short period of time and it will be well worth it when you can move out and stay out! Apply for all the scholoarships and grants and loans you possibly can and also find a part time job for spending money.
  3. Wow...sounds like everybody is gonna have at least hospital experience--that's good. Mlclove...let me know how your peds goes
  4. If you have any other options...don't go to the school! The Pediatrics clinical is at a day care and maternity is at the owner's clinic. The owner is a nut and the staff is incompetent. Don't sign any forms that they give you unless you take it to a lawyer first. It is foolishness at it's finest!
  5. Miaya we haven't done Peds yet, but when we do we are "observing" at the day care and writing papers, which I think is total crap, but what can I do. Linsay that sounds like a a great clinical rotation. It sounds like you both will be well prepared when you graduate!
  6. Thanks Miaya. Where do you do Peds?
  7. Now that they are phasing LPN's out of the hospitals I'm curious to know where everyone is doing their clinicals. We are doing all our clinicals at a nursing home with the exception of Pediatrics, which we are doing at a day care and maternity, which we are doing at a doctor's office. Is it common to do Peds at a day care? Please let me know your experience. Thanks!
