  3. I read kaplan cover to cover did the test in the book and the cd and failed. just so you know, I mean everyone is different but it didn't work for me
  4. well I'm in NY so I have hurst literellay 10 minutes from me and I have RTP 30 minutes from me so I have that advantage also :)
  5. A lot of people fail the first time! you fall off the horse get back on? What are you using to study?
  6. ok thanks for breaking it down for me. I have 5 weeks left till my test(I could always reschedule) and I went to Excelsior online so I feel like I need a Live review so not for me :)
  7. oh wow thats soooo cool! I wonder if ATI is expensive. I'm gonna look into it! That's so awesome that they tell you when your ready to test
  8. I'm retaking my boards end of april and I'm running out of time. I need to enroll in a live review. I'm seriously considering hurst, but now ppl are throwing other ideas into my head. Does anyone have any input on live classroom review? Thank you sooooo much
  9. have you looked at ncsbn? Kaplan is good for ESL nurses!!
  10. well you need 85 hours to read through the content and do the questions. I'm not sure how many questions it will have in total but I did one 150 q pre test and after each section there are post tests. I only completed one section and the post test was 20 q's. hope this helps, it's a compete review of content given by the ppl who give the test so it's worth it. I don't think Zi'll be able to get it all done in the 5 weeks though
  11. Has anyone gotten 75 questions and still failed, or is that a surefire way that you have passed?? Also has anyone gotten 75 questions and the credit card screen on the pearson trick?
  12. everything will be ok! I know how you feel I'm stuck in my old position to Just re-register and use this as motivation to get to the next one!!
  13. did you take ncsbn the first time and still fail? i just rescheduled for the end of april!!
  14. i got the credit card page also and found out 2 days later with the quick results that I failed. I searched high and low for any threads that would indicate a glitch but nothing I'm sorry. I tested monday found out wednesday and recheduled already today friday for the ned of april! good luck!! post in the nclex section there's a few threads like this
  15. tyhanks for the input :-) I didn't think i'd be able to finish all 85 hours in 3 weeks and so I did sign up for the 5 week! have you all passed your boards yet?
  16. you are sooo right!! I am not self motivated and I do take short cuts! However I did sign up for learningext.com 5 week course :) I have to be motivated now it;'s crunch time
  17. I'll keep u in my prayers :) try to keep ur head up in the mean time
  18. Toredo you can't get quick results?
  19. So my screen went right to the credit card page also. and when I was looking for info on it to see if maybe it was a glitch no one was replying posting or seemed interested in the fact that I got the bad pop up so I must tell you I did fail also. As soon as I got my quick results less than 48 hours later I re-registered with the same screen open. I was prepared from the bad pop to see fail and I thin k for that reason I handles it better. I'm sorry
  20. ok take a deep breathe! maybe you can look at the state board nursing website to see if you license # is released. Or maybe call the board of nursing I would honestly harass them! If you're meant to be a nurse you will be a nurse! This isn't fair that they do this to you:eek: in ny I had my unofficial results in less than 48 hours
  21. I know how you feel:uhoh3: this too shall pass!!! When will you be able to get your official results?
  22. Ok I failed Monday and re-registered the same day! Now as you all have seen my other post I'm trying to figure out which review to use. I decided to use ncsbn cause they made the test! I will be able to reschedule in 41 days so that leaves me nearly 6 weeks to study. What is the difference if any between the 3 week program and the 5 week program thanks
  23. yes I took the NCLEX monday and did the pearson trick 2 hours later and it went to the credit card information page and sure enough I failed. I'm trying to figure out whihc review to use again cause I just re registered!
