I would disclose all info in your application but still apply for those various jobs you mentioned. And If they ask why you want those jobs instead of a nursing job then tell them the truth. You might just get a nursing job by Being honest and showing them that you are willing to do whatever you need to do. Many ppl will not take those jobs when they already have an RN degree.

When you call a facility after applying what do you say? Every time I've ever called to ask about the status of my application, they tell me to check online. What else can I say to them to actually pull my application and take a look?! So far I've gotten no call backs applying online.

Thank you! And I have read that article and done most (if not all) of the suggestions... It's not working yet. I live in another state then most if my nursing friends so I couldn't commute to their hospital.

I'm an RN (associates) & I'm currently enrolled in an RN-BSN program. I am really trying to get into a hospital to work, but I'm having trouble. I re-did my resume and cover letter, applied all over (I'd say at least 100 apps) I've even searched for nurse managers/recruiters and have emailed them my cover letter and resume. Nothing is working as of yet! Does anyone have any other suggestions on how to get into a hospital. Or what else I can do? I have no connections in any hospital

i took the NCLEX-RN sept 15th at 8am along with another classmate. we both went home and did the PVT. i got the good pop up and she was able to get to the credit card screen. I checked the BON website and my name and license number was on there by sept 16th 9-10am. unfortunately hers was not. i think the trick works.
