Not cool. You don't have to believe yes but why poke at people who do? No patient harm will come of this superstition unlike the anti-vaccine movement. Really, all I get from your responses is that you feel superior to those of your colleagues who are superstitious. It's so condescending really. I am not superstitious and while I'll make fun of my colleagues when they bring up say, ghosts on the unit and the like. I'll however not utter some of the other phrases on the unit because while it makes no difference to me whatsoever, it does to them and their perception of how the shift will go. I care enough about my colleagues to not rile them up needlessly for the sake of my own ego. For that selfsame reason, I would pray with my patients even though I don't believe because my disbelief doesn't change how much praying with them matters to them. All that's to say, get off your high horse eh?

I found out today that I passed so I can say without a doubt that the PVT works. Of course, it is hard to accept that it works when you don't have that proof but like the legions of others before me, the trick certainly works.

I didn't feel ready at all and I just took mine yesterday. However, like someone mentioned, I felt going in that even if I failed, it would be a great learning experience to experience the actual test. I got cut-off at 75 questions and left nigh on certain that I failed.

Apparently, you have to wait till the status message under Activity changes to "Delivery Successful" before the trick has any validity. It took about four hours before the status changed for me and I got what everyone considers to be the good pop up. Prior to that, I was getting "The candidate currently has an open registration for this exam. A new registration cannot be created at this time." message (approximately).

Apparently, that isn't the good pop up. The good one is "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." The PVT only works after you get the "Delivery Successful" status message under Activity on the Pearson Vue site.

I tested this morning at 0800 and I finally just got the bonafide good message so I will keep everyone posted as to whether or not I passed. I am really hoping though that this PVT is the real deal. I would hate to come down from my apprehensive high only to find out that it's all bollocks.

What exactly is the "good" message with the PVT? I am getting that "This candidate currently has an open registration for this exam and cannot re-register at this time" and I am seriously freaking out.
