  1. Hi! I'm looking into all the 4 year nursing programs in NY and I never heard of this one. Have you heard from anyone who goes to this school?
  2. Has anyone been able to see what books we are supposed to get? Or is it all included in the tution cost?
  3. Yup, got mine too. Same date and time. Im mostly stressed..because of my high monthly tuition payments that I ll have to pay on a soon to be part time salary. Met with FA last week and met a girl whos in the same boat as me; Excited bout getting in but her monthly payments are astronomical. We were both there to see what the school could do for us. And it wasnt much. :-/ So yea, im excited!..but stressed. Lol Tryna stay positive and hopeful.
  4. And yea your right, once we start working those loans will be paid off in no time.
  5. Yea our clinicals may be on different days, but maybe we ll have some classes together :-). Either way I plan on starting study group with you guys, we WILL all make it through this program! Lol
  6. He just told me its a slight difference in time. My classes are from 8 to 2:40 most days. Friday is 6:45 to 3 i believe because of clinicals.
  7. They gave me the B schedule. My counselor said there were just two choices A and B.
  8. Heey I was there last night too! Talking to the dreaded financial aid peeps. Big surprise I gotta take a bunch of loans. Im cool with my schedule though.
  9. Yes I am. I ll message you my info. :-D
  10. Awesome! Glad I know a few of you guys before starting. Makes it a little less scary lol
  11. Thanks! I ll be in Media because I live in lansdowne. So its like 15-20 mins from me.
  12. Yea thats my next worry! Money! Lol I ll save the panic until I meet with financial aid. We're gonna be classmates! Yaaay!
  13. Ive got one transcript left to send. Everything else is done to my knowledge. Noone has contacted me. I may call to make sure everything i sent was recieved.
  14. Nice congratz on being that much closer to being a nurse! I cant wait till im there too. How long did it take them to accept you? And do you know what they really base the ultimate acceptance on? (scores, interview etc)
  15. Was there an area u scored really bad in? Or really good? Or was it all around low? Like my math was really low but my reading high.
  16. Oo cool. Lots of work for you! After I passed I was sent a bunch of paperwork to read and fill out. It said im still not accepted but that im moving on to the next phase of the process. So I guess after transcripts and recommendations are reviewed i ll hear something.

  18. Are you taking pre nursing at P.I.T too?
  19. Yea me too, I suck at math and some science (like chem and bio) but im fine with A&P. Words im good with, formulas and numbers is gonna be work. But this is what I wanna do so imma continue to work at it. You can do it! :-D lol just some motivation. For the both of us.
  20. Yea I can understand that. If the test wasnt $45 each time id suggest taking it twice. Once to see how it is and the second to get a better score. Whats your weak areas? I had to check online for a site that went more in depth when it came to math. The book doesnt explain alot. Probably because it is so much info at once. I plan on going for my BS after I start working.
  21. Congratz! I have one transcript left to send, my recommendation letter, my health stuff and the interview.
  22. Yea my titers will start on tueaday..ugh...Best of luck Ness!
