Hello, I would say Barkley audiotapes are an excellent choice. I just passed my acnp boards and use to listen to his tapes in my car. Mr. Barkely is very knowledgeable interesting and enjoyable to listen to not boring at all and the company has 99% pass rate. He has all types of programs including primary care. You will not regret it.

Hello the Nursing HPSP Scholarship I received seems to be somewhat different unfortunately I did not have to go through a board interview. For me, many different types of VA paperwork had to be submitted along with I had a background check and fingerprinting done. Good Luck on your board interview you will do well.

Hello, Lewis 2219 I am in the same boat as you, just attended the Barkley review as well in June. although I am taking the ancc cert exam on July 8th. My plan is to do the online tests Barkley has to offer. I am also using board vitals. I also purchased a booklet of acute care practice questions from the aacn association of critical care going for anything that I think will help. I wish you the best, don't worry Barkley supports 99% pass rate we just have to mastery of the information.

My advice do not give up from what I have read you do have something to show for yourself you have been a medic for 19 years, you probably may have text taking anxiety and need help in test-taking skills. I would seek help and invest in any educational services in your area or any programs online to see if this your problem. I would apply for another program of nursing. Are you someone who studies alone or in a group setting? Short story, someone that I know went into a ADN Hospital based program did not make it grades failing was dismissed. Ended up going into a LPN program and passed then went into a ADN program not hospital based and passed and now has his associate degree in nursing. The moral of the story do not give up keep on trying, good luck...

Do you mean clinical placement or actually placement of 2 years of services? I am a new 2018 HPSP scholarship recepient. I inquired about clinical placment last month I was told you have to find your own placement with the VA hopefully you would receive preference with the HPSP Scholarship otherwise if unable to get clinical rotation this will be waived. If anyone else has any other experience or information I would like to know also, thanks.

On May 21st I was awarded for VA scholarship of HPSP as well I am in a ACAG NP Program. I have completed all the other requirements now security check finger printing additional paperwork requested. If anyone has any further information or been through this process on when does clinicals start with the VA is it for 2 semesters of just the last year before graduation and does anyone know the statistics for this year 2018 how many students applied and was actually accepted, thanks for any information.
