Does NP 609 (FNP 1 Clinical) require 1 peds preceptor and 1 OB preceptor? I thought you had to find 1 peds and 1 OB preceptor before starting NP 609 (FNP 1 Clinical).

Also depends on if you find preceptors in order to move through the clinical courses.

Is this correct too? For the clinical courses, at least one clinical day each week should be precepted by an NP. I thought MDs, DOs, PAs, and NPs could be preceptors. Even though our preceptor is an MD, we have to find an NP to precept us "at least one clinical day per week"?

Let me know if I'm correct on this one: Preceptors have to give reference forms to 2 masters or doctoral prepared nurses to complete (in order to determine if they would be good preceptors) before clinicals are even approved.

Same here. I'm wondering if its enough time to get the clinical paperwork (from all parties) submitted and approved before clinicals start.
