PGH feedback
@Rabuscar: I also passed the NPE last October 28, 2011, and have submitted the requirements 2 weeks after the results were posted. I was then referred to a lady assigned at the Nursing Director Office to get a schedule for a Panel Interview. I have been scheduled tentatively this coming month. :) Its good to know that we are in the same batch. It's nice to know someone who's going with the same process. May I have your email address? I PM-ed you already, however you haven't reached the required number of posts, yet. I don't know if you'll receive my message. Thanks and God bless.

PGH feedback
Thanks Nars for your reply. Now, I know that I have to wait patiently. I am not yet confident if I will pass the interviews. However, knowing how is it being done makes me feel at ease. May I know if the questions during the interview were personal or nursing related? I wish that you'll finally be deployed when the year starts. :)

Thanks, Drifter! Now, I understand. The form that I should get is the downloadable one. Do you know what's next after the NPE? I will be completing my requirements this week and hopefully wait for the their notice. How long do I need to wait? Thanks a lot!

PGH feedback
Is DNET only releases limited number of forms? The downloadable form and forms that are being distributed at DNET, are they different? I accessed the said form using the PGH group website. Is there a need for me to get it at DNET, personally? Thanks!

PGH feedback
I would like to ask those who passed their application at PGH. How long is the processing time? I know someone who works from that institution who happens to be a nurse (managerial position). My mom gave my name already and I was asked to pass my requirements. However, I am hesitant because as I have read from the previous post it take years before you could get hired. Should I pursue? Is it worth the wait if ever? Do I have to undergo the training? Replies will be much appreciated. Thank you!

New thread that will lead us to New job and trainings
For you to have a first hand information whether or not they are accepting or not, you should call them. You can look for it on the internet or PM me for the number. As what I know, a friend already called HRD of Hospital of Infant Jesus if they are still open for staff nurse. She was told that they are on freeze hiring after October 15, 2010, the date where they will be calling in applicants for pre-employment interview. For the moment they are now finalizing the list of trainees that will start this November. I already had my interview last Monday. Still waiting for their call this coming month. Good luck to us all and God Bless!

Yes, Hospital of Infant Jesus is in need of staff nurse. According to the person who works at the said hospital, after the interview, comes the training for 2 months. Upon completion of the said training, trainees will be evaluated based on their performance. Those who will qualify will be given an opportunity to be a nurse reliever (or probationary perhaps) then will be hired. I have no idea as to how long the process will be. One thing is for sure, not all who completed the training will be hired.

Hospitals in Metro Manila Currently Hiring Nurse Applicants
if its true that chmc has a 150 bed capacity, i think that they would only be needing less than a hundred nurses to be employed. i have worked from a hospital who has the same bed capacity as chmc. we are more than 50 nursing personnel (inclusive of staff nurses, seniors, supervisors and nurse managers). lets do some math :) a tertiary hospital is composed of 4 wards (medical ward, surgery ward, pediatric ward, obstetric ward) there are 3 staff nurse per shift, 1 reliever, 1 senior, 1 supervisor. this amounts to 24 nursing personnel to the usual wards. it also has specialized area (or-dr, er, nicu, icu, opd, dialysis unit, etc.) they also have are 3 staff nurse per shift, 1 reliever, 1 senior, 1 supervisor. this amounts to roughly around 36 nursing personnel. more or less 60 nurses are needed for a 150 bed capacity to operate.. i am sure it could not be more than 100.. :) i am not saying that they won't be hiring more than that.. i just want to share given the experience to work in a similar hospital what i know of the usual number of nurses hired. guys keep it up.. :)

Guys you are fortunate to make it to step one. :) Still there is a chance. Maybe you already made it, its just that they have not contacted you yet. I still wonder how did the CHMC make their pre-employment screening. :) Have not received any invitation to seat for the exam. I consider now my application as unsuccessful :) Good luck colleagues!

Hospitals in Metro Manila Currently Hiring Nurse Applicants
Are you included in the shortlist optimisticRN? I passed my application last July at CHMC. If they are looking for the above requirements how come I have not received any call from them. I have 2 years of Staff Nurse experience (Contractual), an IV therapist, also have an average of 80+. There's must be wrong somewhere, just cant figure out what exactly. Is it the school? or do they prioritize QC applicants? that is what I do not know.

Rizal Medical Center
Congrats plum :) after that long wait at last you made it to RMC. Like you I went to CMC months ago. The lady that I talked with told me that they are still prioritizing applicants from 2007. Well, the best thing to do is to wait. :) I really hope that the processing time will be faster now.

Nursing Practice in UAE
Thanks for the reply MSC. My COE indicates my position which is Casual Staff Nurse, this status is a contractual position, a paid work experience. I have worked for more than 2 years at a 150 bed capacity, level III health facility. This is the reason why up to now I am still hesitant to take the exam since I am not sure if the licensing authority of abu dhabi would allow it.

Nursing Practice in UAE
I already have 2 years of Staff Nurse (Casual) experience. Does it count? I would like to take HAAD, however my concern is about licensing. It's just a waste of time and money if after taking the exam and pass, they wont allow me to be licensed just because of my job status as casual. So, anybody here who went through the process of getting a license similar to my situation? Thanks!
