I am shy and quiet person, I try to start a conversation, but often times, i quiver when alone with a supervisor inside a nursing station, thinking, there`s gonna be a lot of silence, since im a quiet person, will talk/answer only when asked. I can do exchange of conversations but after a while, its dead silence. During meetings, I am more of a follower, than raising a new issues/ideas. Im easy to get along, but i guess, my being quiet, made me a less favorite to my bosses. When asked on certain ideas, i can place my take on it very well. Its just , I`m having a hard time, opening up to a person I am not comfortable with, up to now, my shyness, is a hindrance to having an excellent interpersonal skills. That`s maybe why, I settle for a home health career. Though I would like to experience working in a facility setting..

Hi, not sure im here at the right page, i just want some advice on passing a job interview, i been to almost 10 lvn interviews, and not landing a job... i know its the way i communicate, i cannot talked in long convincing way, like no support explanations, it seems like im the only one knows what im talking about, and not satisfying my interviewer. also im such bad, on on the spot pre-employment test. i will have an interview/pre-employment test in an agency, this coming thurs., (7-12-12) can anybody give me some tips, its a time test. i feel like , my chance of getting hired now is to do well on the pre-test, since i lost my composure in a live talking interview.. ..

MY profile hx says "Delivery successful", the pop up says, "contact your member of board, another registration cannot be made at this time" .I am 98% sure i got my last easy ques. right, caused it gave me a priority ques. afterwards, which i ddnt get to ans. due to running out of time. Bfore i ran out of time, i was ans. 3 or 4 easy ques, which i was so losing interest, then i got pumped up at again when i saw a priority ques. I got stucked to it, they wont take my ans. caused time is up.. During the test i was okay, my brain telling me, "ur gonna be a nurse, u can tackle this test" And in between test i knew i missed a couple of diff ques, cause they threw easy ones after, then i checked my remaining time, im close to be over. But i got shut off, not that computer decided on me, but due to no more time.. Thanks a lot for listening/reading.

I took nclex-pn last March 29, @ 8.am, its my 3rd test, i was trying to reschedule it on a later time, like in the aftrnoon just like when i took my 1st and 2nd try. But theres no avail in the aftrnoon. Its a worst feeling prior to taking my test. I had not sleep, even though I called off wrk, to do last min studying bfore the test. ( I worked noc shift). And felt horrible after the test, i consumed all the 5 hrs. I finished 160 i think. My question is should i believe in the pvt trick, I checked today, and yest. it wont let me register through the credit page, with the pop up line blah.blah..My brain like to believe 1%, but then something would make me think "don`t fool yourself, so u wont get hurt" "its ur computer that`s defective!" And the last test ques, that i had, bfore i ran out of time, was an easy one, or not a priority ques. I am in limbo, but right now, i am peeking every now and then to my Saunders cd, trying to get ready for the next nclex-pn test...

hi, im nterested to join these. just failed my 2nd take of Nclex-VN. was so SAD. all along i thought i made it. was so xcited, even told some friends, that my gut feel was its a 98 % pass. my exam stop at 85, when i get hme that day i reviewed some of d the ques., that i remembrd, and my answers choice was correct. i tried d pvt, it gave me a pop -up. but when i tried to reg. again it goes to credit page. then came d letter i`ve been waiting, i let my bf (an LVN) open it, he too was xcited for me. then d reality!!! im going to retake this again, sometime maybe n october or sept.
