  1. I would assume it is beneficial to be able to speak both since Spanish is the second largest spoken language in the U.S. I think.
  2. Congrats to all that got accepted! Woo hoo!
  3. Don't worry! I've been through that same feeling before and I'm pretty sure many others on this site have as well. But I'll tell you this now as you complete more and more classes you get closer and closer to being able to apply. It goes by real fast and when youre at that stage I bet you'll look back and say, "wow! That really did go by fast". Don't worry about when you're going to apply and all that. Take it one step at a time. You will get there! I can tell you that from my experience. What you can do for yourself is just keep doing what you're doing and knocking down those classes! Here where I live students have to complete algebra then be able to go to chem then qualify them to get to micro. You're blessed to already be in micro and not have to wait so, you got it good, don't worry. Apply for student loans through fafsa with low interest. You'll pay it off when you get a job. I know someone who got a loan for $90,000 and paid it off in a year in a half with the help of her husband and her own new RN job. But that doesn't mean rack up a loan repayment of that cost. I'm just giving examples of if your determined to get something and have a dream. Grab it! Pray for Gods blessings and guidance. It really does work! "God made our dreams couple sizes too big sothat we can grow into them". God bless
  4. I am happy for you! It's good and healthy to follow your dreams. I think your plan you have made for yourself is good. Just stick to it. I've thought about doing the LVN route to RN but I've found that it wasn't for me and I've decided to just stick to the RN route. But everybody is different. Different people different circumstances. Whatever works for you and your situation. I'm sure you'll find your way! :) God bless!
  5. Getting tattoos removed from what I've seen is expensive and takes a While. An idea I have that you can try is to get a tattoo that is the color of your skin to cover up your current tattoos. It's cheap and fast; compared to getting it removed. It's like permanent make up that some people actually get done. I don't have any tattoos, so I'm not experienced with all the coloring etc. And the procedure Of getting one done, but it's maybe something you can try. Hope that helps.
  6. Congrats 1DAYRNIHOPE! I'm happy for you and you deserve it! You worked hard for that spot! I start fall 2011 tell me how NS goes since you'll be in before me if you're not too busy.
  7. Congratulations!!!!!!!
  8. 1DAYRNIHOPE yeah I'll definitely let you know! That would be cool if we got in at the same time!
  9. No, hopefully next semester
  10. 1DAYRNIHOPE I think they're going to send out the new waitlist numbers late September or late October but I'm not completely sure.
  11. Thank you very much for replying! Mykdgirl54 Congrats on starting in August! I'm really happy for you! 1DAYRNIHOPE Do you think we might start spring 2011?
  12. Try other colleges. Try getting on NS programs with a waiting list as a back up while you retake classes. There are many colleges out there. You can do anything you put your mind to.
  13. Congratulations! Happy for you!
  14. Thanks! 1DAYRNIHOPE. I hope you hear from them soon as well! I live in the Sac area too, but I'm going to commute. That's good that you're moving so it'll be much closer to you. =)
  15. I was in a similar boat before. Then I decided to just pick things up and you can do it too! If you can't start from scratch, try and see if you can petition to have the certain low grades dropped. Then take those classes over; yes, it will take some time, but before you know it you'll be done! Just keep going. Don't be discouraged. You can do it!
