  1. Hi Lovely, just a friendly suggestion. Get the Leik book and do the questions in that book. It helped me. All the best success for your next try! Dpmm
  2. CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!
  3. I should get the books next week ( didn't want to splurge on overnight shipping!!). for now I'll concentrate on fitz and apea questions. I just can't seem to review enough for it to stick in my brain. Yes I can move my date to (my window is until Aug. 7). I need to finish up the online tests and fitz before next week. no easy task as very busy weekend ahead. I can change my date up until the wed. before the 12. I'll let you know about the books when I get them....be sure to ask me again if i forget! sounds like you have not taken the test yet either.
  4. Hi and thank you! I took the Fitz in Jan., (live course) and have been reviewing since then. I just recently purchased the APEA online tests for FNP's. After reading these blogs, I just ordered the Zerwekh and Leik review books. I am feeling like I am getting somewhere but have a long way to go (sound familiar?) I just picked my test date (June 12) and am wondering if I should wait until the end of the summer now. Man, this is not easy! A friend of mine has the Fitz CD's but I feel like I am running out of time..... thoughts? thanks. You sounded very well prepared. I just graduated in Dec. also, my last clinical was in the SPR 09 and I have not been working for a while.... Thanks for the great messages!!!
  5. To all of you who have been posting about the AANP FNP test - THANKS!!! It is great to hear about you passing and what you used for study materials! thanks again! dpmm
  6. Congrats to you! Please let me know what you think helped you the most to pass the test. been studying for awhile now.. thanks! dpmm
  7. How was the test and did you pass? what would you have studied differently if you had the chance to retest? Any help would be great!!!
  8. I have to say I applied with AANP and they were great. Got right on my application (submitted online) and even were very helpful with a special request for testing. I have not taken the test yet so I'll let you know how that goes. I am worried about the test but have my fingers crossed that I'll pass. I've been studying but can't wait to get the darn thing over with and move on. I graduated in Dec. '09. Good luck to us all! dpmm:nurse:
  9. I am getting ready to take the AANP and am scared to death! I have taken Fitzgerald and am also looking at an online FNP question site, which is more interactive. Any advice on how intensely I should study for this thing? I ready to just get it over with so I can move on one way or another!! Any advice from the ones who have already taken the test? Like what you would have done differently? Many thanks!!! from a soon to be test taker!
