Ditto what they said and my clinical instructors say it's healthy to have a little fear in you, it can make you a safer nurse! As far as other people saying that so many people fail med-surge...take it with a grain of salt. What might be hard for others might be a piece of cake for you, don't worry about the unknown!
I took A&P and Micro together this semester and it actually wasn't as bad as what I had heard from other people. Luckily the books the instructors used and their course outlines pretty much lined up with each other. I also read the micro material/chapter(s) before attending lecture and that helped tremendously! I've been reading allnurses.com for some time, but never felt right to actually join until I became a nursing student. I finally got my acceptance letter!!! Wow!! Talk about a realm of emotion!! I'm so excited and ready to get this ball rolling!! I'm a mother of 3 with very active children involved in school activites and sports...can you send along any advice on how to juggle it ALL!?!
