Hey everyone, So I took my Nclex on Friday for the second time and this time the test seemed easier as if I know what the questions were asking there were a few things I didn't know, but over all I feel like I got questions on things that I was very knowledgeable on. I got a lot of priority questions and only like 4 SATA questions and one drop question. My first test seemed so much harder, but yet this one seemed like it was things that I had studied and saw questions on. Nervous as all get out. What do you ladies and gentlemen think.

I have to retake my exam too. How long was it before you received your new ATT?

I FAIL . So I called my new employer and turned down the job. Here in Maryland at my crappy job for another month and a half

Hey everyone, I am in the 48 hour waiting period. I want to do the PVT, but do to the uncertainity that I have had I would rather see I PASSED (don't know if that is true just calling it into being now) I don't want to have a bad attitude over all I feel like everyone else I failed.. I didn't get a lot of SATAs maybe only life 4-5 and but I did get a lot of Maternity/OB questions which is a hard thing for me. I am a little unnerved because towards the end i felt like my questions were a little easy which I was not happy about, but according to others that is not a bad sign. I will know for sure tomorrow Oct. 1st if I passed and if I do. Anyone that is in the MD/DC/VA area is welcome to join me for a round of a lot of drinks to celebrate. I am leaving it up to GOD now. I know that I did all that I could. I studied to the best of my abilities and for once going into the test I had no anxiety which I find odd. Leaving it though I had major anxiety I haven't slept much and been on allnurses all day looking for answers. But I am praying and calling forward all good news. So continue to keep us all in your prayers.

Hey all, I am taking my Nclex tomorrow and I am both nervous and excited. I have accepted a job at Scott an White in Temple TX, but everything is contingent on me passing. I don't know if I have done enough. I have studied used ATI and all that. I don't know I just want to get it over with. I am so nervous about passing this exam. It will mean a new chapter in my life when I do because I will be moving from Maryland to Texas which I am beyond excited about. I can not wait for that move. I guess I am just hoping for some encouragement from my follower nurses. To all that have pass congrats to you. I am hearing that the test is not hard as long as you read the question and go with your gut answer. That is what I am going to do and just pray. If all my follow nurses will keep me in their prays it would be appreciated. For all my nurses sitting tomorrow good luck to you all. I know that you will do well. We will all pass.

I have a BSN and I am also working on my master's in public health as well. I am looking in the Austin area thats were my grandmother leaves at this time. I am just filling out applications all over. I know that the job market for new graduates is getting harder and harder. I have seen a lot of opening once I have 6 months or more experience thought. I didn't have a perference where I moved just as long as I am in the state I can at least be closer than where I leave now which is Maryland

Good Afternoon All, I am applying to various places in Texas for a Nursing Job. I will be moving to the state to be closer to my grandmother that is getting up there in age. I just want to know how the job market is for new graduates. I just passed my boards and have been submitting a lot of applications down there. I understand that graduate nurses are finding it hard to land a job in big cities like Dallas and Houston, but my goal is the smaller areas for now. I have a lot of experience in trauma and ER and I just want to get some info on places that may be hiring now.

If you know any small town hospitals that are hiring I would love to work for one. I only know the big areas of Texas, but I think a small town job would be good for me with my future goals.

If anyone knows any good hospitals in the rural areas I would love to work for one. Sometimes the best experience comes from rural areas or places you never thought would be great that turned into a great opportunity for you.

Good morning, I graduated nursing school last spetember, but do to family issues and problems I am just now getting my license. I wanted to know if anyone had any input on new graduate positions in Texas. I am from the Maryland area and want to move somewhere else. I am currently looking for new graudate positions. Hi, Everyone I am hoping to hear back from stevenson soon about their nursing program. Even though I agree it is an expensive school from talking with the counselors and seeing the campus it is the school for me. I attended Frostburg State for undergrad and I am use to small class sizes and I like that one on one attentation that can be received when there are fewer students. I was wondering if someone could give me some insight into the program and what I can expect if I am accepted for the fall term
