feeling down and discourage..
It takes practice to learn how to communicate with patients, esp. I use to be a quiet girl, but it just takes time for your confidence to build up. You'll soon be comfortable around your patients the more you interact with everyone.

Military nursing???
I graduate in December from a BSN program. I was thinking of joining the military. Can anyone tell me which branch is the best for nurses? (Incentives, areas to work in, etc..) And what are the pros and cons of joining the military? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

hesi exam...
Where did you get your HESI book?
-
My class just had 20ish ppl fail because of the HESI...
Yes, I have the same feelings about the HESI. I'm pretty nervous about it cause our class has to take it at the end of each quarter.

hesi exam...
I graduate in December as well. We have to take HESI exams at the end of each quarter and then an overall HESI exam at the end before we graduate. I heard that HESI is harder than the NCLEX. I have the Saunders NCLEX book that my school gave us. They said to use that to study... Any other suggestions on how to study??

Mercy San Juan New grad program 2010
Hi! I'm from Sacramento but got in a program in CO. I plan on moving back there to work (hopefully). Any advice? How did you go about looking for new grad programs?

Dear future nursing students,
I hear you on that one! I completely agree with you on everything.. I feel the same way!!

I got accepted to a nursing program, but im about to give up my seat...HELP
Stay in the program. Its not a guarantee you'll get into another program later or closer to them. You're in it now, and I'm sure you've worked really hard to get into this program. So go for it. There's always ways around money and all that other stuff.. How often does this kind of opportunity come along?
