Guys, I've been thinking about something regarding BPs. Are there any unis or entities that offer scholarship for the BP? I read something about the commonwealth fund but I'm not sure if that's applicable to overseas applicants. I have already planned everything and my parents gave me the go signal to proceed with my application once I'm done with IELTS but the thing is I want to help them with the expenses by getting a scholarship if there's such a thing for BP students. Any thoughts on this? Any input will be highly appreciated. Thank you guys! :)

I'm sorry but I didn't get that last part. Are you trying to say that on your last day of IVT training with RMC you had an exam and interview or you had the exam and interview just recently?

If you're looking for an institution that gives out scholarship specifically to Nursing students, I can only suggest your school's College of Nursing. Study hard, perform well, take a scholarship exam and if you meet the requirements, you should be granted a scholarship if they have funds for it. Try to ask your local government. Here in Pasig, I heard that our municipality gives out scholarship in our city's Pamantasan.

So I just got home from Ospital ng Sta. Ana. I googled and found out that it's along Pedro Gil(?). Im not really good with our roads. So, it turns out they require an endorsement letter from the city hall. How do I get one of those? Im not a resident of Manila and not a registered voter either. You guys think I have a chance in getting that endorsement?

Where is Sta. Ana Hospital located again? How do I go there from the Quiapo church? Can anybody give me directions? I tried Google Maps but it wont display Sta. Ana Hospital. Even articles are not unanimous with the company name if it's Ospital ng Maynila, Sta. Ana Hospital, Sta. Ana Medical Center, Sta. Ana Trauma Hospital, etc. So what's the name of this institution? I'm writing my LOI and all I have is Dr. ********as the Hospital Director. Can someone tell me how to go there and the institution's correct name? Thanks a lot!

Some of the requirements for voluntary work include PRC license, board cert and board rating and we all know that you have to pass the NLE first before you get these. I'm not sure if there are any institutions who accept underboards.

Did he get some sort of a certificate for his volunteer work? Was he not absorbed after the 6 month training? Sorry if that may sound a little personal. I just really want to know what's going on in RMC. :)

Hi there! Anybody here who has worked for RMC? I have a pending application for their IVT training but sadly, even the nurses at the Nursing Director's Office do not know when will the next IVT class be. They just asked me to sign-up in a logbook and then regularly check with them for the schedule of the next class. It's been 3 weeks since I went there and the reason I want to take my IVT training with them is because first, I live 10 minutes away from the hospital and second, I was told by one of the nurses in RMC that once you're done with the IVT training, you'll be hired as a volunteer nurse as well. It will run for 6 months and then you'll be assessed if the institution could hire you as one of their employees. Can someone verify this? I might visit RMC this afternoon to check the schedule. Any input will be highly appreciated. :)

Is CMC still hiring and do they offer volunteer work?

Do I have a chance of getting a seat to take the examination if I submit the requirements sans board cert? I'm going to file for a copy of my board cert this Tuesday then go to QMMC to pass the requirements. Do you guys think they'll accept my application or will I be wasting my time going there with incomplete requirements?

Hey guys, is AFP Med Center almost the same as PNPGH's setup? I had my med/surg ward duty in PNPGH when I was a student and I enjoyed it since I learned a lot from the people there. I would want to work in the same setting if possible. Thanks! :)

So are there any openings for freshies in this institution? I have zero clinical experience and passed the Nov 2008 NLE. I didn't really back read since all I saw were non-stop flaming and bashing. Thanks!
