  1. My best advise is to just relax! You will be so unbelievably busy in the next two years! But it will be great! Dont give up! If you are set on reviewing any material, I would review medical terminology. It is a great help when you first begin clinicals and have no idea what half of the stuff all the nurses and docotors are talking about! Good Luck!
  2. I am a new grad, and haven't taken the nclex yet, but I had the same problem with the nursing tests. I would study so much, put all I had into it, and still not be able to pass the tests. It was very frustrating and discouraging. I finally went to the college's counseling center, where they evaluated my test taking anxiety. It was great. They helped me realize my anxiety porblem and worked with me until I overcame it. I am not saying this is what is stopping you from passing, but maybe look into it. You may be psychologically ruining your chances before you even take the test! Best of luck!
  3. I have recently started precepting and increase my patient load each shift. With each increase, obviously it gets a little harder to stay organized, Any hints or ticks of the trade that come with experience?
  4. I am a nursing student and I just started precepting. I am doing 12 hour shifts and my feet are killing me! (Even though the time goes by fast.) I just wanted some different opinions on the different shifts out there.....
