Nah you are considered in district as far as the nursing program is concerned. Its pretty much the surrounding towns of temple, but you can double check with the ADN secretary. She told me Belton counted though! I made a 93 on the HESI, had a 3.95 GPA, but was missing A&P II and Comp II because I didn't take tech and bus writing. I checked my pts and only missed 1 pt out of 13 possible and it was for my HESI score! Take ALL the co-reqs you can this fall AND Spring (the Spring classes will count too!) and go to the EAC and do all the study guides for the HESI to brush up and you will be fine! Good luck!

Yes thats true, but you get wayyyy more points for how many co-reqs you have. if you only have the 3 its only 1 out of a possible 3 so you lose 2 points. I'm in a similar situation, too. I made a 93 on the HESI, have only 1 B and the rest are all A's, live in district, and am only missing Comp II and A&P II. I'm afraid it won't be good enough, but I am praying!!! Keep counting the days til the end of MAY!!!

A&P is a VERY hard class to take over the summer because they generally condense it down to 8 wks (At my school its a 4 wk course!!!) If you will just devote ALL your free time to studying and lab you will be fine! It is intense but very doable. On the first day find a group that you can study with. In A&P you need a GROUP!!! I just got an A in A&P and a girl in class and I were in the lab for hours every Sunday teaching each other, but we made A's! Take a deep breath and hang in there....you can do it!!!

I worry that it is so competitive and that almost is not enough!

I applied for the ADN program at TC for Fall 2010 and I'm wondering what my chances are of getting accepted. I made a 93 on my HESI, I have all my pre and co req's except CompII and A&PII, and made all A's except one B in Micro (so like a 3.9 GPA?). Anyone have any clue if this is enough? I was applicant #237 so that makes me kinda nervous!

So can anyone tell me, if I have all the co-req's except comp II and A&P II, I have only one B (like a 3.9 GPA), I live in Temple and I made a 93 on the HESI, do I have a good chance? They tell you it is off a point system, but they won't tell you how to determine what your points actually are. Any ideas?
