  1. I GOT ACCEPTED! I START JANUARY 17th, 2012 in Hillsboro, Texas at Hill College. ANYONE ELSE GOING TO THIS NURSING SCHOOL IN JAN.? EXCITED, NERVOUS AND CAN'T WAIT!
  2. WOW! That is alot of studying...Kudos to you for sure!!! I went to register the other day for A&P 2 and the counselor asked me if I wanted to go ahead and take Nutrition and Pharmacology....so I went ahead and registered for that as well. I am hoping to be accepted into the January program...and thought having those under my belt and out of the way would help....Hope I made the right decision. Thanks for the reply!
  3. It is a REQUIREMENT to take these courses at my school. So whatever it takes to get accepted into the program and to fulfill my dream, I am gonna do!!
  4. So, I passed A&P 1 in my summer 1 class!! I was so excited. I am not gonna lie though, it was really hard. It was done in 4 weeks. I had the opportunity to take A&P 2 for summer 2, which would have been 4 weeks also. BUT, I decided not to do that. I am going to take it this fall in which it will be spread out over about 4 months. Along with A&P 2, I am going to be taking Pharmacology and Nutrition. Has anyone taken pharmacology and nutrition along with a&p 2? I don't want to overwhelm myself, I know I can do it. I just want to get some of y'all's views and what you guys thought of each of these courses? Thanks for any replies!!
  5. how r you doing? it's wednesday now and my brain is fried...lol still thinking positive though! good luck 2 ya!

  10. WOW! So you are not required to go to actual labs? That is gonna pretty cool dissecting a cadaver online. :cool:We have to go to actual lab and I noticed in my book that we are dissecting a rat, a cow's eye and a sheep's brain....Well, good luck to you!
  11. AWESOME! That sounds really great! Good luck to you. I wish I could take it online, but I am afraid if I did, I wouldn't soak it all in...lol:eek: I am more of a learning hands on person. I would so love to do it though online b/c I have 2 kiddos (14 yr old n a 4 yr old) and I really don't want to be away from them for 6 looong hours:crying2:....But it'll only be for 5 weeks....OH MAN! I am totally gonna need help!
